Description
The Production Development Engineer will identify market trends, develop new product requirements, conduct market and competitive analyses, advance existing products and new solutions through concept development, detailed design, manufacturing instructions, assembly manuals, product launch, and process implementation, and provide technical consulting for wood products. The role requires a completed joiner/woodworker or wood technician apprenticeship, several years of comparable professional experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and knowledge of CAD, ERP, and Microsoft Office systems.
