Description
Coherent Corp. is hiring a Production Engineer for its Liquid Phase Epitaxy (LPE) process at the Easton, Pennsylvania facility. The role supports production, crystal growth analysis, production melt preparation, equipment troubleshooting, product improvement, and technical reporting. The employee must train for approximately 6 to 8 months at the Hillsborough, New Jersey facility and work a Monday-through-Friday day shift. A bachelor's degree in engineering is required, with mechanical or materials science engineering preferred, along with experience in CAD, Microsoft Office tools, chemical handling, precision measurement, fixtures, hand tools, equipment controllers, and analytical problem-solving.
