Description
Coherent Corp. is hiring a Production Engineer for its Liquid Phase Epitaxy (LPE) process at the Easton, Pennsylvania facility. The role supports production activities, crystal growth analysis, production melt preparation, equipment troubleshooting, product improvement and development, and technical reporting. It requires an engineering bachelor's degree, preferably in mechanical or materials science engineering, plus experience with CAD, Microsoft Office tools, chemical and acid handling, precision measurement, fixtures, hand tools, equipment controllers, and qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The employee must train for approximately 6 to 8 months at the Hillsborough, New Jersey facility before working in Easton.
