Description
Oxford Nanopore Technologies is hiring a Production Engineer to support the assembly and overall production process of its nanopore DNA sequencer. Reporting to Senior Production Engineers, the role works with R&D and Production teams to develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing processes and quality systems; transfer new products into manufacturing; improve yields, efficiency, and cost; solve production problems; and maintain controlled documentation. The position requires a mechanical engineering degree or equivalent apprenticeship with significant industrial experience, production engineering experience in a highly regulated industry, manual cell-manufacturing experience, and familiarity with pilot production lines, FMEAs, verifications, and validations.
