Description
Placer.ai is hiring a Production Engineer to own and evolve the infrastructure supporting its large-scale location analytics SaaS platform. The role covers GCP infrastructure, multi-cluster GKE, Terraform and Atlantis, ArgoCD GitOps, CI/CD reliability, developer tooling, high-availability production and development environments, observability, monitoring, alerting, incident response, and performance and scalability improvements. Candidates need 5+ years in production engineering, SRE, or platform engineering at a SaaS company, 3+ years operating Kubernetes in production, 2+ years using infrastructure-as-code tools, experience with production databases and queues, proficiency in Python, Go, or Ruby, and strong monitoring and alerting skills. GCP, CKA or deep Kubernetes ecosystem expertise, RabbitMQ or Kafka at scale, and GitOps familiarity are preferred. The position is hybrid and pays $190,000-$210,000 USD annually, with medical, dental, and vision coverage plus other benefits.
