ABB is hiring an onsite Welding Process Engineer for its Distribution Solutions division in China. The role develops and validates welding processes for new products, including manual and robotic welding; defines welding procedures and parameters; develops fixtures and jigs; conducts welding qualification and quality control; troubleshoots defects; and programs and debugs industrial robots. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree or higher in a mechanical or welding-related field, welding process development experience, proficiency with major welding processes and CAD and simulation tools, and English communication skills.
