Description
ABB is hiring an EMS On-site Support Engineer for its Production Testing & Support team in the Product Engineering and Quality department. The role is based in Suzhou, China, and supports ABB drive products at an EMS factory through production quality improvement, technical problem solving, PCBA and box-build testing, delivery coordination, ECN and PPAP support, and production ramp-up or ramp-down project management. The position requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant engineering field, at least three years of PCBA or drives-industry engineering experience, knowledge of SMT, wave soldering, coating, ICT/FCT, PPAP, and IPC standards, familiarity with industrial drives and production-testing tools such as Python or LabVIEW, strong problem-solving and communication skills, fluent English, and willingness to travel.
