Description
The role leads daily production operations across shipbuilding and marine construction, overseeing steel fabrication, sub-assembly, block erection, outfitting, painting, and test/commissioning. Responsibilities include workforce planning, cost control, schedule and labor reporting, material readiness, quality and safety compliance, subcontractor coordination, hiring and developing production supervisors and craft personnel, and continuous improvement. The position requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, at least ten years of progressively responsible production or operations leadership experience in shipbuilding or marine construction, and experience managing multidisciplinary production workforces.
