Optiver is hiring a Production Operations Engineer to support and scale its low-latency trading systems in Sydney. The role involves deploying, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing proprietary trading applications and infrastructure; coordinating deployments; managing colocation; automating system management; and improving reliability and operational efficiency. The position requires Linux distributed-systems support, networking, CI/CD, Python or similar scripting, and database experience, with rotational weekend work and global collaboration.
