Description
Autocar is hiring a Production Operator to work in self-directed teams and operate an assembly line. The role includes performing backflushes, maintaining 5S standards, meeting quality-control requirements, gathering data on part shortages and defects, providing feedback to supervisors and quality control, participating in root-cause problem solving, training new employees, performing installations outside standard conditions, and working across up to four stations. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, mechanical aptitude, technical-drawing interpretation, Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge, and Bill of Materials reading; vehicle-manufacturing experience is preferred.
