Description
Messer is hiring a Production Operator/Material Handler to report to the Plant Manager and safely process compressed-gas orders for on-time customer delivery. The role involves selecting, loading, unloading, labeling, storing, and handling compressed-gas cylinders; scheduling deliveries; maintaining shipment and cylinder records in SAP; and performing shipping and receiving duties. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 2 to 3 years of related industrial experience, the ability to lift up to 60 pounds, outdoor work, teamwork, communication, punctuality, and mathematical calculation skills. Work hours are Monday through Friday, either 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. or 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., with daytime training for three to four weeks.
