Description
Messer is hiring a Production Operator/Material Handler to select, load, unload, label, store, and handle compressed-gas cylinders in an industrial-gas production environment. The role involves operating carts and rolling platforms, using high-pressure and vacuum pumps, and painting cylinders. It requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 2 to 3 years of related industrial experience, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, communication skills, and outdoor work in varying temperatures. The position works evenings from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with daytime training for four to six weeks and an evening-shift premium of $2 per hour.
