Description
The role operates manufacturing machines to achieve high-quality production, reviews daily manufacturing functions and job orders, obtains materials and tools, maintains safe equipment operation, and recommends improvements to production methods, equipment performance, and product quality. The position requires knowledge of manufacturing tools, gages, blueprints, schematics, instrumentation diagrams, and arithmetic, along with strong communication, organizational, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Two or more years of relevant manufacturing experience and a high school diploma or GED are preferred. The role involves prolonged standing and walking, lifting up to 60 pounds and moving up to 100 pounds, and potential exposure to hazardous materials and moving machinery. Starting hourly pay is $20.00–$24.00, with health, dental, vision, retirement, leave, and other benefits listed.
