Description
Microchip Technology Inc. is hiring a Production Control Specialist to translate intercompany demand into production build plans for sub-assemblies and catalog parts, create Axapta 2012 work orders, coordinate materials and production, monitor lot completion and shipment commitments, and report performance to the intercompany customer. The role requires a BS in Industrial Engineering or an equivalent engineering course with production planning and control experience, preferably in the semiconductor industry, and residence in or willingness to relocate to Laguna. The position may require travel of 0–25% and requires strong Excel, ERP/MRP, communication, and analytical skills.
