Description
The Production Shift Manager will manage and directly supervise poultry processing production operations, coordinating production, maintenance, sanitation, quality, shipping, and receiving activities. The role is responsible for meeting production, yield, quality, safety, and cost objectives; monitoring department performance; ensuring USDA and OSHA compliance; conducting plant inspections; and developing and motivating supervisors and other employees. The position requires at least five years of poultry or food-industry experience, including three years in a supervisory or management role, along with leadership, communication, critical-thinking, and organizational skills. A high school diploma or GED is required, while a bachelor's degree is preferred.
