Description
The Production Department Manager directs and coordinates production department activities, plans manufacturing schedules and priorities, monitors quality and equipment performance, resolves operational problems, and maintains a safe work environment. The role supervises employees, interviews and trains new hires, assigns work, appraises performance, and handles complaints. A bachelor's degree is preferred, while 6 months to 1 year of related experience and/or training or 2 years of experience and/or training are listed as qualifications.
