Description
The Java Production Support / ProdOps Engineer will provide hands-on production support for Java-based applications, including monitoring, incident triage, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, release support, deployment validation, rollback coordination, and post-production monitoring. The role also involves maintaining GitLab CI/CD pipelines, documenting runbooks and root-cause findings, and improving application stability and operational readiness. Candidates should have strong Java development experience, production operations experience, GitLab CI/CD experience, and familiarity with DevOps practices; AWS, monitoring tools, Linux, shell scripting, SQL, REST APIs, and microservices are preferred. The position offers USD 39,000–USD 137,000 in compensation and is available to independent contractors.
