Beecher’s Handmade Cheese is hiring an entry-level cheesemaker to learn and perform cheesemaking operations, including milk receiving, pasteurization, vat operation, cheddaring, hooping, pressing, packaging, and shipping. The role requires maintaining production records, following food safety and Good Manufacturing Practices, cleaning equipment, and working collaboratively. No prior cheesemaking experience is required, but applicants must be at least 18, able to lift up to 65 pounds, reliable, team-oriented, and available for weekends. The position offers a starting pay of $23.55 per hour, a bilingual premium, a pasteurization-training raise, a four-day work week, and medical, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement, paid time off, and holiday pay benefits.
