Description
The Production Technician/Technologist (Electrical) will report to the Production Manager and operate, maintain, and troubleshoot vacuum coating, UV casting, roll coater, motor controller, PLC, wiring, and circuit breaker systems. The role also supports process improvements, automation solutions, cross-functional meetings, and documentation of PLC changes. Candidates need an electrical or electronics engineering technology diploma or equivalent, 2–3 years of engineering experience, industrial manufacturing experience, and knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, schematics, and lean manufacturing. The position is based in Thurso, Quebec, with an annual travel allowance of $6,000 CAD in addition to base salary.
