Description
First Solar is hiring a Production Technician I to safely operate and maintain equipment in the middle-to-finishing stages of photovoltaic solar module manufacturing. The role monitors process data and equipment alarms, performs basic quality control and preventative maintenance, troubleshoots issues, manages materials and inventory, communicates across shifts and teams, and supports production, safety, and process-control objectives. It requires a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of manufacturing experience for external candidates or specified internal qualifications, and physical ability to work up to 12-hour shifts in a manufacturing environment.
