Precoat Metals is hiring an Operations Support worker for its Columbia, South Carolina plant. The role supports plant operations by moving bare coils, operating cranes, forklifts, and upenders, packaging and banding finished coils, inspecting defects, reading production schedules, recording coil information, and loading or unloading coils. The position requires high school-level reading and writing, visual acuity, communication, tool operation, and availability for 12-hour rotating shifts including weekends; forklift and overhead crane experience and warehouse or manufacturing experience are highly desired. Starting pay is $21.83 per hour, with advancement opportunities to operator positions paying $22.35 to $29.73 per hour.
