The Manufacturing Machine Operator works independently or as part of a team to operate industrial machines such as coilers, spring testers, shearers, and grinders. The role involves producing parts according to engineering drawings and specifications, interpreting blueprints and work instructions, verifying workpiece quality, completing production reports, maintaining housekeeping and production standards, and supporting special projects. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, two years of related manufacturing experience or equivalent education and experience, the ability to identify basic springs, and physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in potentially hot or humid conditions. The salary is $22.18, with health, welfare, retirement, and possible annual bonus benefits.
