Description
The Professional Aide, also described as a Clerkship Coordinator, provides professional support for third-year medical students’ clerkship experience. Responsibilities include planning and scheduling clinical rotations, coordinating placements with family medicine offices and preceptors, maintaining clerkship records and evaluations, preparing reports and packets, and supporting orientations, reviews, presentations, and faculty didactic sessions. The role is temporary or on-call, may be performed remotely, and requires knowledge equivalent to a two-year college degree plus one to three years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
