Child Start's Professional Development Specialist empowers educators, child care providers, parents, and caregivers with knowledge and resources to enhance early childhood education. The specialist designs and delivers professional development opportunities, provides consultation, and advocates for quality early care and education. Responsibilities include offering technical assistance, coordinating data collection, promoting Child Start initiatives, collaborating with community partners, and participating in statewide coordination efforts.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or a Related Field.
Required Previous Experiences: Three years of experience working with young children, with at least one year in a child care setting.
Experience working with adults, such as training, coaching, mentoring, leadership, or supporting caregivers/teachers.
One to three years of related experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Bilingual candidates are preferred.
