Description
The Professional Development Specialist provides advanced nursing professional development expertise, designing, implementing, and evaluating education and transition-to-practice programs; conducting needs assessments; aligning initiatives with organizational and regulatory goals; leading change and performance-improvement efforts; and consulting with nursing stakeholders. The role requires a master's degree in nursing, Florida registration as a registered nurse, and at least three years of related nursing or professional development experience, including experience in acute care or complex healthcare environments. The specialist must maintain clinical credibility through required bedside clinical hours and demonstrate expertise in adult learning, instructional design, program evaluation, change management, and evidence-based practice.
