Description
The Program Accountant develops, monitors, and maintains accounting and financial reporting requirements for assigned programs. Responsibilities include preparing budgets and budget narratives, tracking grant and contract costs, recording and reconciling expenses, preparing vouchers and billings, analyzing budget-to-actual variances, supporting Medicaid billing, and assisting with accounts receivable and program reporting. The role requires an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting and 2–3 years of general accounting or grant/contract management experience, along with strong analytical, communication, and Microsoft Excel skills.
