Description
The Head Start Aide assists with classroom activities, kitchen duties, and safe transportation of children to and from the program facility. Assignments and routes may change, and the aide may deliver meals to multiple Head Start Centers. The role requires applicants to be at least 18, complete an approved early care and education course, obtain First Aid and BLS/CPR certifications, pass health and TB screening, and undergo criminal background checks; a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record are required for Sandoval County assignments. The pay range is $14.89 to $15.51 per hour, dependent upon education.
