Save the Children is hiring a Program Aide on call/Substitutes for its Head Start, U.S. Programs. The role is part-time or full-time and may be on-call or substitute work across classrooms, centers, bus routes, cafeterias, kitchens, and home visits. Duties include assisting teachers, providing temporary classroom coverage, supporting janitorial and kitchen operations, monitoring buses, and maintaining child and family safety. Applicants must be at least 18, have a high school diploma or GED, relevant Head Start or childcare certification, basic first aid and pediatric CPR certification within 90 days, and demonstrate ability to work with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with disabilities. The position starts at $15 per hour and includes health, dental, vision, paid time off, retirement, and other benefits.
