Description
Save the Children is hiring a part-time Program Aide On-Call to support Head Start and Early Head Start programs by assisting teachers and staff in classrooms, centers, cafeterias, kitchens, and other program areas; providing custodial and food-service support; serving as a temporary substitute; monitoring buses; and helping with classroom management, parent and staff activities, and child-safeguarding duties. The role may require travel to program sites and home visits, and requires a high school diploma or GED, applicable Head Start or child-care certification, first aid and pediatric CPR certification, knowledge of working with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children, and the ability to work with children with disabilities.
