BGC Okanagan is hiring a part-time Program Area Leader in Vernon, British Columbia, at $19.82 per hour for 20 hours per week Monday through Friday from 2:15 p.m. to 6:15 p.m., with extended hours during school breaks. The role plans and implements program activities and special events, oversees daily program operations and compliance, supports program development and evaluation, promotes the program, coordinates with community providers, and maintains records and reports. Applicants need relevant experience or a diploma, certificate, or training in children’s recreation, education, or social services, a valid First Aid certificate, Responsible Adult training, a Class 4 driver’s licence or willingness to obtain one, successful agency screening, and must be at least 19 years old. The position requires union membership and is open until filled.
