BGC Okanagan is hiring a part-time Program Area Leader for its School Age Childcare program in Vernon, British Columbia. The role plans and implements activities and special events, oversees daily program operations and compliance, supports program development and evaluation, promotes the program, coordinates with community providers, and maintains records and reports. The position requires childcare, recreation, education, or social-services experience, a valid First Aid certificate, Responsible Adult training, a Class 4 driver’s licence, agency screening, and union membership. It pays $19.82 per hour and runs 20 hours per week Monday through Friday from 2:15 p.m. to 6:15 p.m., with full-time hours during school breaks.
