Description
Heartland Family Service is hiring a Homeless Prevention and Housing Search Supervisor to directly supervise and oversee homeless prevention, rapid rehousing, and permanent supportive housing programs serving clients in Douglas, Sarpy, and Pottawattamie Counties. The role includes hiring and training staff, supervising interns and direct-service employees, reviewing cases and records, ensuring compliance with funding and agency requirements, completing outcome and performance reports, recruiting landlords, conducting housing-quality and NSPIRE inspections, and participating in community and Continuum of Care activities. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in Human Services or a related field, three years of case management or direct-service experience, and a valid driver’s license; it is scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. for 40 hours per week.
