Montgomery County Recreation is hiring a seasonal/temporary Program Coordinator or Assistant Program Director to support recreation programs and facilities. The role involves greeting participants, providing customer service, setting up and maintaining equipment, monitoring safety and engagement, troubleshooting emergencies, enforcing rules, and assisting with registrations, payments, records, and administrative tasks. The position may also supervise, plan, lead, coordinate, or evaluate recreation activities and may serve in specialized coordinator or group-leader roles. Candidates must have 1,500 hours of relevant recreation leadership or instruction experience and two years of college education, or an equivalent combination.
