Description
The Program Coordinator plans, coordinates, administers, and evaluates afterschool, summer camp, childcare, and recreation programs for Horry County’s Parks and Recreation Department. The role develops community partnerships, hires and trains staff, supervises site supervisors, manages budgets and reports, inspects facilities, orders supplies, and represents the department. It requires a high school diploma or GED, computer and communication skills, and the ability to pass a physical and background check; a degree in education or recreation is desired.
