Description
The Program Data Scientist will design and lead analytics for the Division of Traffic Operations’ traffic signal capital program, building data systems, pipelines, and GIS-based analyses that track projects, contracts, and assets across hundreds of concurrent initiatives. The role develops metrics and dashboards to surface trends, bottlenecks, and risks, evaluates data quality, and presents actionable recommendations to division leadership. It is an applied research position based in Queens, New York, with a 35-hour Monday-to-Friday schedule and eligibility for remote work up to two days per week.
