2AI India is hiring a founding Program Director for Agriculture to own the strategy, design, partnerships, pilots, and early operations of its first India program area focused on AI-enabled weather forecasting and advisory services for smallholder farmers. The role requires 10–12 years of experience in agriculture, rural development, or a closely adjacent field, deep knowledge of Indian smallholder agriculture, an established network across government, research, and implementing organizations, and experience building teams and new programs from scratch. The position includes managing state and central government relationships, coordinating partners, representing the program externally, and recruiting and coaching the growing agriculture team.
