Description
The Program Director supervises a shelter and related programs, overseeing personnel, facility and fiscal management, client services, funding-source relationships, community relations, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance. The role reports to the Director of Programs and directly supervises department heads, including social services, client care, security, childcare, intake, and maintenance. It requires substantial experience in homeless services, behavioral health, shelter administration, budget management, and related systems, along with a master’s degree or higher in a relevant field and a related license. The position is generally Monday through Friday, requires on-site work, and may involve occasional travel.
