Description

The Program Director will lead the Opal Next Generation (ONG) program, focusing on reshaping passenger journey planning, payment systems, and real-time information across the NSW Opal-enabled bus network. This senior leadership role involves overseeing the successful, timely, and cost-effective delivery of the TfNSW ONG project, establishing the PMO function, meeting contractual obligations, coordinating global teams, and fostering strong stakeholder relationships.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Successful leadership, delivery, governance, and commercial performance of the TfNSW ONG project during implementation and transition phases.
Lead the overall delivery of the ONG Project, ensuring all contractual commitments, scope, timelines, and quality outcomes are met.
Oversee program budget, revenue performance, forecasting accuracy, change control, and commercial risk.
Act as the primary senior contact for TfNSW and other external delivery partners.
Build, lead, and mentor a high performing project and PMO team including Project Managers, Technical Leads, Analysts, and SMEs.
Preferred Qualifications: Strong executive presence and influence by communicating with clarity, confidence, and composure in high-stakes environments.
