Description
Westhab is hiring a Program Director to oversee the administration and daily operations of a 200+ bed women’s homeless shelter in College Point, Queens, New York. The role manages program operations, compliance with DHS, OTDA, and Westhab requirements, staffing and performance reviews, community and service-provider relationships, program results, reports, and corrective action plans, with 24/7 on-call availability. A bachelor’s degree in human services or a related field is required, a master’s degree is preferred, and at least four years of supervisory experience operating a DHS shelter is preferred; proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required. The salary is $80,000 to $90,000 annually.
