Montgomery County Recreation is hiring a seasonal/temporary Program Director or Assistant Site Director to lead and supervise recreation programs and activities at school-based facilities. The role includes welcoming participants, providing customer service, setting up and maintaining equipment, monitoring safety and engagement, troubleshooting emergencies, enforcing rules, and coordinating registrations, payments, records, scheduling, and administrative tasks. The position may also involve nutrition, transportation, sports officiating, and staff or volunteer supervision. Candidates must have 4,100 hours of relevant recreation leadership or instructional experience, two years of college, English reading and writing ability, and the ability to work professionally with participants, staff, volunteers, and partners.
