Program Engineer at Mid-Continent Instruments and Avionics

Mid-Continent Instruments and Avionics is seeking a Program Engineer to act as a technical liaison between sales and design teams, managing new product development and existing product qualification/certification for aviation products like cockpit avionics, power conversion, and battery systems. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and external customers, driving projects to meet targets, protecting intellectual property, supporting sales proposals, and providing product expertise throughout the proposal process. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, at least 2 years of relevant aviation experience, strong program/project management skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of aviation certification and standards is preferred.
