Callosum is hiring a Program Evolution and Optimisation Engineer to develop and improve an LLM-guided search system that generates, evaluates, selects, and evolves programs against verifiable objectives. The role focuses on search strategies, continuous benchmarking, and turning the system into reliable internal infrastructure for optimising kernels, inference runtimes, scheduling, scaling policies, KV caching, and other domains. The position requires strong optimisation and search foundations, engineering experience, and the ability to reason about exploration, exploitation, diversity, pruning, and objective design. It is based in Callosum’s London office and offers visa sponsorship and relocation benefits.
