Close Up is hiring a Civic Program Instructor to lead experiential civic education programs for middle and high school students in Washington, D.C., with possible travel to New York City, Philadelphia, and other historical sites. The role involves guiding students through workshops, discussions, site visits, and meetings with policy experts and elected officials, while fostering inclusive and respectful discourse. It is an in-person position with a 50-hour weekly schedule, an initial contract from February 1 through June 25, 2027, and an annualized salary of $41,592.
