Description
The Direct Support Professional provides in-home and community support to intellectually and developmentally challenged adults, including assessment, participation in daily routines and recreational activities, customized training, first aid, medical treatment, documentation, and stakeholder communication. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of relevant experience, a driver’s license, California automobile insurance, and English proficiency; bilingual English/Spanish ability is preferred. The schedule is a day shift from Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with Saturday and Sunday off.
