Description
The Program Director oversees the operation and services of a designated program or set of programs, including direct supports, person-centered planning, health care, advocacy, staffing, training, compliance, financial management, census, maintenance, and stakeholder relations. The role manages Direct Support Professionals, Program Supervisors, and other staff; conducts hiring, scheduling, performance evaluations, coaching, discipline, and termination activities; and is available on-call to cover shifts or backfill roles. It requires a bachelor's degree, two to three years of related human services experience preferred, applicable state licensure, and required certificates.
