Description

Umbra is hiring a Program Manager for its Mission Solutions – The Platforms team to lead execution of complex government programs for U.S. and allied defense and intelligence missions. The role is responsible for managing cost, schedule, technical performance, customer satisfaction, integrated program plans, risk, financial forecasts, Agile collaboration, proposals, and growth strategy. The position is on-site in Arlington, Virginia or Reston, Virginia, requires an active TS/SCI clearance with a recent read-in, and offers a compensation range of $175,000 to $215,000 DOE along with comprehensive benefits.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related STEM or business field
Required Previous Experiences: 5-8+ years of program management experience
2+ years supporting U.S. Government contracts or aerospace and defense programs
Active TS/SCI security clearance with a read-in within the past two years
Preferred Qualifications: 10+ years of program management experience
Space systems, satellite development, mission operations, or remote sensing experience
Familiarity with SAR, RF payloads, and associated ground systems
Familiarity with SAFe or PMI frameworks
Domestic travel up to 25%
Systems engineering and architecture understanding
