Description
Karman Space & Defense is hiring a Defense Program Manager to lead defense programs across hypersonics, strategic missile defense, tactical missiles, and integrated defense systems. The role manages program planning, development, qualification, production, delivery, cost, schedule, quality, technical, contractual, and customer performance; coordinates cross-functional teams; leads reviews and risk mitigation; and serves as the primary interface with customers, government stakeholders, suppliers, and internal leadership. The position follows a 9/80 schedule and requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, business program management, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience, plus at least five years of experience supporting or managing aerospace, defense, advanced manufacturing, or similarly complex technical programs.
