Description
The Maryland Department of Natural Resources, Maryland Park Service is hiring a Program Manager III to serve as the Mid-West Regional Manager. The role oversees visitor services, natural and historical resource management, personnel, equipment and facilities, interpretive services, budgets, maintenance, emergency response, public safety, and regulatory enforcement across Western Maryland State Parks and related facilities. The position is based in field offices throughout the region and requires regular travel throughout Maryland. It is a full-time management position with a salary of $93,138 to $146,883 per year and requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and eight years of forest/park administration or operations experience, including five years in a supervisory capacity.
