The Barr Foundation is hiring a Program Officer to support its Climate Program in Massachusetts. The role collaborates with Senior Program Officers and Climate team members on grantmaking strategy, proposal evaluation, active grant management, budget tracking, consultant and special-project coordination, grantee support, communications, and field leadership. The position requires at least five years of relevant professional experience, strong analytical and project-management skills, and familiarity with nonprofit evaluation and organizational capacity. It offers a starting salary of $135,000 to $145,000, health, dental, vision, and life insurance, retirement savings, vacation, and parental and health leave, with a hybrid work arrangement in Boston.
