Description
The Bridge Preservation Engineer will serve as an on-call faculty and academic staff member for NCPP’s bridge preservation program, advancing entrepreneurial service offerings, training, funding, partnerships, and technical innovation. The role provides technical leadership, develops programs and proposals, supports research, and represents NCPP at meetings and events. It requires a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a closely related field, professional engineer licensure, and 10 years of bridge engineering experience, with a variable commitment averaging 20 hours per week. The position is designated fully remote, with travel estimated at 6–12 trips per year.
